Dan Gibbins

Dan Gibbins is an experienced and respected personal injury lawyer in Tyler, TX. A La Poynor High School graduate and Tyler Junior College, Dan has East Texas roots, which led him to open Gibbins Law, PLLC in Tyler, TX. Outside the courtroom, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kendra, who is also an attorney, and their two children, Piper and Tessa. His favorite pastimes include playing golf, hunting with his grandfather, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Fightin’ Texas Aggies.

Frank Barat

Frank Barat is a skilled personal injury attorney who represents clients in a variety of accident cases, including car and truck accidents, workplace injuries, and premises liability. Frank earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review and is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Texas.

Frank is actively involved in his community, serving on the boards of Keep Tyler Beautiful and the Smith County Young Lawyers Association. Taylor Mann

Taylor Mann’s journey into the legal field began with a transformative experience in his youth. Attending a court hearing, he felt a deep sense of powerlessness and confusion. He committed himself to becoming a lawyer, driven by a desire to demystify the legal system and advocate for those in need.

Taylor Mann has consistently pursued his passion for law, dedicating years of education and experience to achieve his goal. His journey began at Texas A&M University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 2012, laying a strong foundation for his future in the legal field. With a clear vision of becoming an advocate for those in need, Taylor continued his studies at Baylor Law School, where he honed his legal skills and expanded his understanding of complex legal principles. In 2024, he earned his Juris Doctor and went on to pass the Texas State Bar exam in October 2024, marking a significant milestone in his career. Taylor’s commitment to excellence and justice drives him to continuously grow as a legal professional, prepared to serve his community with integrity and dedication.

Outside of his professional aspirations, Taylor is an avid reader, primarily of non-fiction, but he enjoys a good novel from time to time. He is a devoted Christian and finds joy in spending time with his eleven-year-old daughter, the love of his life. In his leisure time, Taylor can often be found playing golf, walking his dog, or lifting weights.

Evan Barat

Evan Barat is an experienced family law attorney who represents clients in various family law matters, including divorce, custody modifications, child support modifications, adoptions, and Child Protective Services (CPS) removal cases. Recognized as a “Rising Star” by Texas Super Lawyers in 2021, 2022, and 2023, Evan is known for her personalized approach, straightforward counsel, and dedicated advocacy.

Evan graduated with honors from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law. She has dedicated her legal career to serving clients in East Texas, building her reputation through consistent and committed legal representation.

An active member of the Texas legal community, Evan is involved with the Texas Bar Foundation, the State Bar of Texas, the Smith County Bar Association, and several sections dedicated to family law. She resides in Tyler, Texas, with her husband and children and is actively involved in her community through St. Francis Episcopal Church.

Brian Schmalbach

Having an attorney requires someone with a legal understanding. But it is also important to have an attorney that understands the situation. As a parent and father, Brian understands the challenges involved in custody disputes, divorces, and other legal matters. His experience allows him to comprehend the struggles that his clients are enduring as well as the long-term effects. He strives to find solutions for his clients that work in the real world.

Brian attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship.

Brian worked as an oil and gas accountant in Oklahoma City until he decided to go to law school. While attending the Oklahoma City University School of Law, Brian worked in the following areas of law: personal injury law, oil and gas law, and family law. Upon graduation from law school, Brian sat for the Texas State Bar Exam and became a licensed attorney in Texas. Brian believes his experiences and education provide him with an ability to problem solve and create resolutions specifically tailored to the individual client.

Brian currently practices primarily in family law. Brian finds family law to be particularly rewarding as he can utilize his knowledge and skill to create the best outcome for the client.

Camdon Maydew

Camdon Maydew’s journey into law was fueled by his desire to make a meaningful impact. Believing that a legal career offers a unique way to help others, he committed to becoming an attorney to advocate effectively for those in need. This conviction drove him to excel both academically and professionally.

Camdon earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School in 2024. He distinguished himself by earning recognition as the 3rd Best Oralist in the Touro Law 9th Annual National Moot Court Competition and consistently achieved high academic honors, making the Dean’s List multiple times. His active participation in the Baylor Law Barrister Society and Tau Kappa Epsilon further showcases his leadership skills and dedication to the legal field.

Having received his Texas Bar license in October 2024, Camdon is fully prepared to embark on a career focused on creating meaningful change. His commitment to helping others remains a driving force in his approach to the legal profession, inspiring his dedication to advocacy and service.

Despite his family’s deep ties to aviation—his father is a pilot, his mother a flight attendant, and his brother a flight instructor—Camdon humorously admits to being afraid of heights, adding a personal and relatable touch to his story.
